Since 1574, the Dopffs have dedicated themselves to the art of producing great Alsace wines from vineyards in and around picturesque Riquewihr. The current winemakers at Dopff represent the eleventh generation of the family to cultivate the vine and make wine on their Alsace estate. Dopff have also enjoyed an unbroken trading partnership with Dan Murphys since the mid-1950s. Totally unoaked, to allow the delicacy and freshness of the fruit to shine, the colour is true red-violet robe. The nose is delicate and expressive with notes of red fruit and spices. The palate shows a lovely fruity attack of red berries, and the wine finishes harmoniously with great freshness.
