Hungerford Hill Verdelho has proven itself to be best suited to warmer viticultural climates, such as the Hunter Valley, where a complex unwooded style flavour ripeness is achieved and expressed early in the growing season allowing a fuller flavoured aromatic white wine. Brilliant youthful green in colour. A pungent aroma of spicy citrus, musk stick and hints of lavender whilst the palate is constant and complemented with hints of lemon and passionfruit with a subtle linear acid structure.

Semillon from the Hunter Valley is a distinctive and unique wine. Pale, vibrant and light bodied when young and with bottle age developing incredible texture, richness and complexity.

The Fish Cage Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is from the bank of the Hunter River. A blend of two classic varietals; where the Semillon brings aroma of lemon curd, lime leaf and a textured lanolin palate; the Sauvignon Blanc adds exotic tropical fruit with juicy acidity. An early ripening grape perfectly suited to the warm climate of the lower Hunter Valley. The small berries retain their acidity and produce fragrant white wines with intense flavour. the cool 2022 vintage has produced a beautifully aromatic wine with tropical fruit and refreshing natural acidity.

A wine style that is rich and complex by nature and specifically crafted to capture the quintessential fruit and oak qualities of the wine. Yellow straw in color, this Cuvée is supple and light displaying notes of tropical fruits, rock melon, mango and pineapple as well as a crisp citrus character with a hint of oak. A simply outstanding chardonnay.

Tasting Notes: A complex, balanced wine that is ageing very well, white gold in colour with aromas of vanilla and tropical fruits, the palate is packed with ripe stonefruit and a lingering oaky finish from barrel fermenting and ageing in new French oak hogsheads. - Analysis: - Alcohol: 13.0% - pH: 3.27 - TA: 6.8.

Andrew Margan bergan his winemaking career at Tyrrell's, set up on his own, was named the Hunter Valley Viticulturist of the Year in 2015 for the quality of his vineyards and his innovative viticultural techniques. This exceptionally well-made Chardonnay is partially fermented in new French oak for added texture and complexity.
