The Parson GSM is a traditional take on three of McLaren Vale's most important and historical varieties. The wine displays hints of rosemary and aniseed the nose. Since 1912 the Osborn family have tended vineyards in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Today, fourth generation family member Chester makes distinctive wines using traditional and sustainable methods in the vineyard and winery. Small batches of grapes undergo 10 days of carbonic maceration, then are gently crushed and immediately drained to finish fermentation in stainless steel. Stranded starfish have no place to hide. It'll be those that gave their island to survive; drink up, dreamers, you're running dry.

Deep ruby red with a lovely youthful violet hue. A fragrant nose of fresh blueberries, a little vanillin, mixed spice, cedar and a floral hint of perfumed violets. Approachable, graceful palate of mulberry and blueberry compote. Up front, juicy flesh of plum with underlying notes of chocolate coated coffee beans, mint, black pepper, and a hint of earthy truffles. A solid backbone of supporting acidity extends these characters towards the finish.

Pirramimma Stock's Hill McLaren Vale Cabernet is deep brick red in colour with lifted fruit on the nose. The palate shows excellent blackcurrant varietal flavour with well integrated American oak. A great wine for the price.

This McLaren Vale Chardonnay displays rich tropical fruit with subtle oak integration adding complexity. A trademark d'arenberg style, the overall balance indicates the potential to age well.

McLaren Vale reds are known for generosity of fruit. Red Knot Cabernet, with it's cassis, dark berried characters and a lingering finish, has the added bonus of being terrific value for money.
