Hungerford Hill Verdelho has proven itself to be best suited to warmer viticultural climates, such as the Hunter Valley, where a complex unwooded style flavour ripeness is achieved and expressed early in the growing season allowing a fuller flavoured aromatic white wine. Brilliant youthful green in colour. A pungent aroma of spicy citrus, musk stick and hints of lavender whilst the palate is constant and complemented with hints of lemon and passionfruit with a subtle linear acid structure.

Semillon from the Hunter Valley is a distinctive and unique wine. Pale, vibrant and light bodied when young and with bottle age developing incredible texture, richness and complexity.

The Fish Cage Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is from the bank of the Hunter River. A blend of two classic varietals; where the Semillon brings aroma of lemon curd, lime leaf and a textured lanolin palate; the Sauvignon Blanc adds exotic tropical fruit with juicy acidity. This Fish Cage Chardonnay contains small amounts of Verdelho and Viognier, which enhance the uniqueness as well as complexity of the wine. Showing a bright straw green colour, this Hunter Valley Chardonnay exudes fragrances of white pear, tropical fruit and citrus from its luscious bouquet. The palate is full flavoured and fleshy, seamlessly balancing the ripe Chardonnay flavours with nuances from Verdelho and Viognier.
