A wine-based aperitif, Byrrh has the specific characteristic of being flavoured with quinine. Its alcohol content is 18°. Byrrh is drunk as an aperitif. It is best served cool, at approximately 16°, and goes well with a twist of lemon zest or a little Crème de Cassis.

There are many stories about who created the first Negroni. We like to believe it originated in Florence, Italy in 1919 when Count Camillo Negroni asked for a stronger version of his favourite cocktail the Americano (Campari, Red Vermouth and soda water). The bartender replaced the traditional soda for gin, and the world-famous aperitif was born. The definition of sophistication and simplicity the Negroni is a tonic for those who would rather be sitting in a local bar during what the Italians refer to as aperitivo hour.Serving Suggestions:Serve Dr Onyx Negroni swirled, not shaken in a short glass over ice. Traditionally garnished with a slice of orange or the preferred blood orange adding a more dramatic fragrance, and a sweet and tart flavour.Volume:500ml, 22% Alcohol, Approx. 9.0 Standard Drinks.
