Symphonie de Haut Peyraguey
Miraval Studio by Miraval
The name of this wine, STUDIO by Miraval, was not chosen by chance. In 1977, jazz musician Jacques Loussier, the owner of the estate at the time, had a recording studio built there, and hosted international artists of the calibre of Pink Floyd, The Cure, Muse, AC/DC, Wham, Sting, The Cranberries, Rammstein, Chris Rea, and French artists such as Indochine, Telephone, and Bashung. Studio Rosé is a pale pink colour with great clarity. The nose is an explosion of freshness with notes of citrus and fresh fruit. Its elegant palate offers refresing acidity with floral and iodized notes supported by grapefruit zest on the finish.

Domaine Maire & Fils Grand Minéral Côtes du Jura Chardonnay
The Chardonnay expresses itself wonderfully, offering fresh and well balanced wines with aromas of white fruits, hawthorn and acacia notes. The beautiful minerality on the palate reveals a racy and elegant wine. Domaine Henri Maire has been nestled in the Jura, a wine region in eastern France between Burgundy in the east and Switzerland in the west, since 1632. Founded by a man named, Maire, for over 300 years, generations of Maires succeeded one another, strengthening the Maisons expertise. For Domaine Henri Maire, the Path to Gold is an initiation to the richness and diversity of Jura wines. It starts with Côtes du Jura, which exalts the freshness of Chardonnay. It follows with Arbois, with its rich palette of wines, the use of Savagnin and the mysterious veil ageing. Considered to be one of the worlds greatest wines, Vin Jaune has a golden yellow color, hence its name.

Château Lanessan Haut-Médoc
Château Lanessan continues to be a true bargain in the Bordeaux world. Lanessan produces wines that at first seem firm, but flesh out with marvellous fruit with good richness. Lanessan is also a very consistant producer, creating wines of quality from questionable vintages. The great thing is that you don't have to worry too much about 'questionable' vintage when looking at this superb 2009. The Bordeaux Gods have definitely been smiling on communes and produced wines of utmost concentration and power. Lanessan did not miss out with the licquorice, spice and blackcurrant rich wine that will reward the Bordeaux bargain hunter for the next decade or more.
