As a negociant and vinificateur (winery), Caves desclans identifies vineyards, grapes and wines from château desclans as well as local growers to make what has reputedly become the worlds greatest rosé. As our objective is to obtain the best quality grapes and wines, we have created relationships with the local grape growers, committed beside Caves desclans, whose vineyards are treated with the same high standards of quality as are the vineyards of Château desclans.

Mirabeau X Provence Rosé France

From Coteaux d'Aix en Provence, and produced from carefully harvested and gently handled 55% Grenache, 20% Cinsaut, 10% Syrah, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The result is an ultra pale rosé wine with a nose of elegant small red summer fruits and plenty of refreshing citrus aromas. This wine is vivacious and fresh, with a pleasant complexity. A delicious aperitif, it pairs gracefully with grilled meats, seafood and mediterranean cuisine.

Mommessin Grandes Mises Beaujolais Blanc

At Cigalus, to craft premium wines in the South of France, Gérard Bertrand has opted for organic methods, a system of living vine- growing which enhances the expression of the terroir and the unique characteristics of the grape varieties in the best plots of the estate. All the work in the vineyard ploughing and pruning and in the cellars is driven by a calendar based on two celestial objects: the moon and the sun. The Indomptable de Cigalus Blanc, produced from a blend of chardonnay, viognier and sauvignon blanc, has a beautiful shiny and limpid golden yellow colour. The intense and complex nose reveals notes of grapefruit, white peach, honey and dried fruit with toasty hints. The palate is full and silky, ripe, with notes of vanilla, butter and exotic fruits.
