Biodynamically farmed Malbec by the very open-minded 6th gen winemaker Fabien Jouves in France’s Cahors region. One hectare of Malbec is aged and undergoes elevage in Amphorae, letting the dizzying limestone hills and its fifty year old vines do the talking. In this case, less is definitely more. No sulphites added, it’s a red fruit salad that’s as clean as they come.

For all its pronounced complexity, there is a soft and juicy wine in the glass, with sweet berry notes and the suggestion of warming spices like cinnamon and juniper. Acid runs along the backbone, adding vibrancy. The tannins are fine and approachable, adding a certain youthfulness and elegance. It’s all balanced.

Pale colour with a green tinge. Citrus, hazelnuts, brioche, complex and lifted aromas. Finesse and complexity on the palate, lively with good weight and balance.

An elegant and vibrant palate structure with fresh pear flavour. A fine balance of sugar, acid and tannin ensures a refreshing crisp style. Light fresh dough yeast characters enhance the softness and viscosity. Overall crunchy and bright reminiscent of Nashi pear. This Prosecco fruit is harvested in the cool of night to ensure the fruit qualities are preserved and then gently pressed to achieve full flavour.
