Though part of the Barossa, the Eden Valley is a slightly cooler climate than the neighbouring Barossa Valley, so generally produce Shiraz that is slightly more elegant in style. That said, the Eden Hall Shiraz is a wine that is not only rich, vibrant and full of life today, it will also hang in for the long haul.

Nitschke Block Shiraz displays rich, opulent fruit with a fantastic balance of texture. Lifted notes of greengage plums are first to emerge from what is a tightly-wound wine. There is also a warming spice element of subtle white pepper as well as some dark cherry and plum flavours.

Winemaking: Gentle pressings were combined with free run juice and cold settled. Fermentation commenced in stainless steel but some of the Marsanne and Viognier finished fermentation in and was aged in barrel until bottled in early August. The remaining Marsanne and the Roussanne were aged on lees in a tank until bottling, to enhance the structure and texture of the wine. Colour: Attractive pale straw. Nose: Aromas of stone fruits, honeysuckle and Asian spice. Palate: Medium bodied with good texture, mouthfeel and balanced mineral acidity. Flavours of nectarine, pear, mandarine and Asian spice give to make it for good food pairing, possibilities from seafood to white meat.

Turkey Flat Rosé is a blend of four varieties in which each adds it's own particular character. Spinifex Papillon is a vibrant and luscious red from the Baross Valley that is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mataro. Made in the typical modern Australian mould, the Papillon is bright and aromatic with lifted cherry, red currant and spicy raspberry. A very perfumed wine with earthy flavours of beetroot and white pepper which lends itself to being a terrific food style wine with lovely acid structure and a medium weight.

Brokenwood Pinot Gris is sourced from a wonderful vineyard site in Beechworth that allows this rich and textural Pinot Gris to show its true colours. Aromas and flavours of peach, melon, honeysuckle and candied pear are all present in a delicious true Gris style.
