The latest edition to the alrady popular La Famiglia range from Trentham Estate, this Vermentino stood out from the crowd when our Tasting Panel gave it the once over. Fantastically fresh and appealing on the nose with intriguing hints of aniseed. The palate has a superb texture and weight that will have you coming back again and again.
Berton Vineyards Metal Range Vermentino
Our Vermentino is a pale lemon colour with silver hues. Aromas of tropical fruits combined with hints of pear and citrus jump from the glass and follow through to the palate creating a wine that is rich with a great depth of flavour and a crisp acidity.
The Forgotten Botanist Vermentino
This wine's bright citrus flavours and zesty acidity caught our attention. Vermentino is a classic Italian varietal known for its citrus flavours & zesty acidity. This Australian expression from the Barossa Valley is full of bright lime, green apple & grapefruit flavours. Classic, zippy acidity completes this wine. Try with anitpasti, fried whitebait or stuffed zucchini flowers. Vermentino grapes are known for their ability to ripen well in warmer conditions with minimal water, these were the conditions experienced in the Barossa Valley 2015 vintage.
Salena Estate Ink Series Vermentino
Poured into a glass, this Vermentino flaunts a pale straw-green colour. On the nose, it exudes white peach and lemon-lime citrus aromas that are beautifully complemented by floral fragrances leaping out of the glass. These are followed by a crisp and fresh palate revealing flinty acidity. This lovely drink is a great match for grilled oysters with spicy tarragon butter, or shellfish.
