PLUMP BARE GRENACHE
The Bare Touch wines are made by Cowpunk winemaker Aaron Mercer using early picked grapes, free run juice and a “hands off” non intervention approach. The grapes are naturally lower in alcohol and with far less skin contact than a traditional red wine, the free run juice is bright and vibrant with significantly lower tannins. The hands off winemaking approach allows the fruit to express itself fully whilst building complexity. The result is a range of fresh and elegant wines with a sleek, supple mouthfeel that are perfect to be served with a moderate chill or straight from the fridge.

Amidst it all is a creamy softness and an elemental funkiness. The finish is long and dry, leaving a cleansing grapefruit tang at the end. Any seafood will love being paired up with this gem, particularly blue swimmer crab, grilled prawns or sautéed scallops. Alternatively a simple goats cheese salad will be sensational! Enjoying a wide range of climates including the cool temperatures of the Adelaide Hills, to the hot summer weather of the Barossa Valley, South Australia is arguably Australia's most diverse wine producing state. It is from these wonderfully diverse regions that winemaker Marty O'Flaherty selects the best varietals to produce Mojo wines. Marty's resounding philosophy is "wine should tell a story about the terroir in which it's grown, needing lots of love but minimal handling by allowing the growers to do what they do best."
