Have some on standby for when you need to pull out the big guns. 'There were plenty of great wines from the vintage which was so good for reds in WA. The good thing is that high quality fruit was also available for the more modestly priced wines making them such great value. This one is the perfect example. Luscious, ripe and delicious, it opens with strong blackberry and dark plum aromas merging with some more substantial blackcurrant. The palate is seamless and perfectly integrated with fine grained tannins and oak working together to carry the strong fruit essence to a long finish. 91/100' - West Australian, Perth, 07 Feb 2013, by Ray Jordan.
