A relative newcomer to Margaret River, Flametree have already hit several home runs. This wine is another hit, with a fresh mix of citrus and stonefruits, zingy acidity and clean finish.

Forester Estate Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a clean, fruit driven wine style showing herbaceous, citrus and lifted floral characters distinct to Margaret River. Pure Margaret River Cabernet ripe redcurrant with a touch of cassis and mulberry overlaid by leafy, violet aromas and dusty cedar notes. Richness, softness and length of flavour are features of all our Cabernets from this vintage. The wine has remarkable mid-palate fruit flavour and richness while still showing the freshness, fineness and acidity for which Margaret River Cabernet is renowned.

This Blanc is a crisp straw colour, offering a romantic glow through it when held up to the sunshine or a dinner-time candle. The blend is made with majority Sauvignon Blanc grapes plus a handful of Chenin Blanc. The result is a classic dry white, with enough sweetness to give your taste buds something to dance around. The fruit comes from our Quindalup vineyard and is simply made in a stainless steel tank for freshness.

Light gold, with a fresh, green rim. Stonefruit, pear and citrus notes and seductive fresh toast, dried herbs and malty aromas from barrel fermentation. Palate Remarkable fruit sweetness, intensity and persistence, matched with lovely texture and savoury elements and balanced by fresh, natural acidity. A prolonged cool and wet growing season meant the vines were lush and healthy heading into ripening. This resulted in later harvest dates, accentuated by the cool and wet ripening months; conditions not experienced in Western Australia for more than 10 years. These conditions, coupled with the absence of heat events, produced highly aromatic whites with good natural acidity. The fruit was selectively handpicked at perfect ripeness, before being loaded into an airbag press and gently squeezed. The free-run juice was continuously tasted until an optimum point was reached. The juice underwent wild fermentation in new French oak puncheons, then remained in barrel for 7-10 months, with monthly lees stirring to provide texture and mouthfeel. Each batch was carefully assessed for inclusion in the final blend. This minimal handling has produced a unique, delicate Redbrook Chardonnay style that will develop great complexity over time.

Notes of gunflint and citrus, further complexed with ripe stone fruits and understated oak result in a wineof great complexity and mineral drive.

Redolent in ripe cassis and dark chocolate aromas, the palate is long and structured with perfect poise and balance.
