But it is the complexity in this wine that is truly remarkable and something that isn't often seen in this blend.

Pure Margaret River Cabernet ripe redcurrant with a touch of cassis and mulberry overlaid by leafy, violet aromas and dusty cedar notes. The Deep Woods Estate Hillside Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a wine that can be enjoyed on release but will find further complexity over the next two to three years. The palate is clean and lively with tremendous depth of ripe stone-fruit and the aroma of nectarine, ripe citrus and white blossom.

A slightly more serious style showing clean and focused characters of citrus, nettles, dried herbs and flint, with a touch of smoke adding complexity from partial barrel fermentation in one year old oak barriques. The palate has a fuller style that has great texture and freshness with dried herbs and citrus at the forefront. The wine finishes long and clean with lingering herbaceous characters and mineral acidity.
