Rockford Moppa Springs Grenache Mataro Shiraz
Drawing inspiration from the Rhone Valley in France, this is a fruity, savoury palated wine that shows ripe black berries and plums on the nose, together with hints of savouriness. The mouthfeel is full, dark fruited and talcy with plenty of fleshy berry flavours, evident tannins, licks of dark chocolate and meatiness, and a juicy, savoury-edged finish.
Penfolds Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz
The Penfolds Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz is a relatively new addition to the Penfolds stable, sourced from the Barossan sub-district, Marananga. Simply a revelation, this wine is an inky, black beast in the glass with lashings of dark chocolate and coffee accented fruit, yet this years offering shows a lingering, soft structured finish that will see the wine cellar very nicely.
Quin Wines Barossa Valley Shiraz
The nose shows a classic Barossa Shiraz style of blueberry, blackberry and red currant. There's spice there too, and hints of vanilla. The palate is soft and round with lovely intensity and layers of rich, dark, fruit. Fruit for this wine was sourced from 3 separate blocks from our 7 Ha vineyard located on the banks of Greenock creek. Planted in the mid 90s on their own roots, this 1654 clone 1654 Shiraz thrives on the red clay loam over limestone that makes this one of the great sub-regions of the Barossa. East/west row orientation provides perfect sun protection through the heat of the growing season and the south facing aspect creates bright fruit and an air of elegance. 10% was hand harvested and direct tipped into an open top fermenter for whole bunch fermentation. The remainder was harvested in the cool of the morning and delivered to the winery where it was destemmed into an open top fermenter. Time on skins ranged from ten thirty days before the wines were basket pressed, settled overnight and racked to seasoned French oak. The wine was blended in September then returned to oak for maturation for a total of twenty months. Partners in crime and explorers at heart, Andrew and Skye Quin are the team behind Quin wines. Having travelled the world together, they finally settled in the Barossa, with a trailer of second-hand furniture and heads full of dreams. Andrew has spent the last 10 years as Chief Winemaker for Hentley Farm, during which time he has collected a swathe of awards and accolades. But 2018 saw the launch of his own brand: Quin Wines. His philosophy is simple - respect tradition, but continue to push boundaries. And that bigger is not always better!

Gibson Wines is one of the reasons why we all love the Barossa Valley so much. Small family winery, ancient soils, hand-crafter wines all made by a true Barossa character, Rob Gibson. With his signature moustache and motorcyclists' leather waistcoat, Rob puts all his years of experience into every bottle. The Reserve Shiraz is grown from a single estate vineyard in Stockwell and displays aromas and flavours that are fresh and lively with juicy fruit tones that are hard to find in 2007. Amazing what can be achieved with rigorous fruit selection and detailed winemaking.
Kalleske Eduard Shiraz
Kalleske are leaders in organic and biodynamic vine growing and winemaking practices. Their old vine Barossa vineyards are able to produce fruit of the utmost concentration and power. The Eduard is sourced from three dry-grown vineyard blocks that were planted between 1905 and 1960 and which produce extremely low yields. Named after Karl Heinrich 'Eduard' Kalleske who worked the Kalleske vineyards from 1853 until the 1880s. Showing an intense, powerful and full-bodied nose and palate exhibiting dense classic Barossa old vine Shiraz characters. Inky black fruit flavours abound together with harmonized tannins, subtle oak complexity a sturdy structure and great length.
Two Hands Bella's Garden Shiraz
This Two Hands Shiraz is full bodied but very buoyant. Bright flavours are lifted and accented by notes of fresh blue and blackberry with hints of plum. Creamy complexity through the palate adds depth and interesting texture. Palate has great depth and a coating nature but doesnt feel heavy. Tannins start mid-palate and leave a lovely rolling chewy nature. Spicy through the finish with vanilla and sweet baking spices.

Greenock Creek Jaensch Block Shiraz The two parcels are blended to produce a deeply coloured, powerful wine with great ‘flavour drive’ down the palate. The parcel from the lower section produces flavours more in the blue fruit flavour spectrum with silky tannin and gamey/meaty undertones. The structure of wine from the upper section is more intense and savoury spiced. The silken tannins make the wine approachable in youth, but we would expect the Jaensch Block Shiraz from this exceptional Barossa red wine vintage to
