It’s no secret that Shiraz is the core strength of the Barossa. It has; is, and always will be quintessential to our region. This is due to the dedication of generations of Barossans. With this, I pay the highest respect to the great wines of the 80’s and 90’s; the wines that showed the world how great the Barossa is, in the hope the new generation of winemakers and grape growers don’t forget the thing that gave them the opportunity to do what they do and love now.

After a few years of cellaring, this iconic Barossa Valley Shiraz from Turkey Flat has evolved into a bold yet beautifully balanced classic. The intense fruit has mellowed into rich, dark layers of blackberry, plum and spice, with the oak now seamlessly integrated. Still full-bodied, the wine shows added depth and softness, with silky tannins and a long, elegant finish. A refined expression of Barossa Shiraz that rewards time and patience.

Coming from 2 sites, one planted between 1860-1880 and a single vineyard approximately 85 years old both of which are dry grown and own-rooted in the deep sand of the Vine Vale. This wine is highly aromatic with a core of spicy cranberry and pomegranate, orange zest and dark earthy notes finishing on wonderful velvety tannins.

A superb example of classic Barossa Shiraz - bold, complex and full-flavoured with silky tannins. Expertly cellared to show at its best, it’s drinking magnificently right now, delivering depth and richness with every sip.

Crimson red with purple hues, this wine bursts from the glass with aromas of blackberry tart, berry coulis, cocoa and sweet spice. The palate is rich and opulent, with intense blackberry and mulberry flavours layered with milk chocolate and baking spice.
