A magnificent blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from the very best regions and vineyards available to Peter Gago and his team, the robust nature of the Cabernet grape give structure and body to the wine while the opulent Shiraz fruit provides suppleness and intensity. Dark and rich with vibrant notes of blackberry, dark cherry, and mulberry. The wine showcases well-integrated, cedary oak, complemented by layers of cassis and spice. It is complex and layered, with a rich, spicy profile that is both sophisticated and enticing - a true representation of the pinnacle of Margaret River Cabernet.

Margaret River icons, Leeuwin Estate, have produced a wine of true class here. A great finish to the vintage shows up here with aromas of cassis, redcurrant and chocolate. Sweet ripe fruit on the palate is well matched with toasty French oak and fine tannin.

Blackcurrants, cherries, dried cranberries and Satsuma plums feature on the nose at the forefront. Bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamon, cedar and clove combine with heightened lavender notes and hints of fresh tobacco. The palate is fine with a mineral thread. It is elegant and delicately layered. Blackcurrant and cherries feature again with a subtle cassis edge. The mid palate has supple flesh with cocoa, coffee bean and cassia leading to a graphite line and powdery tannins.

Moss Wood are not know for their Pinot Noir, however this is a fine a unique expression of region and variety. A fruit bomb of rich and integrated flavours of cherry, spice, charry oak and silky finesse on the finish. The flavours pop and linger in the mouth long after the wine has left it.

A core of vibrant sweet black and red berry fruit with earthy gravelly nuances contributing a nice savoury element to the wine. Hints of cedar and chocolate add further complexity and texture with great length and balance, supported by fine-grained tannins and seamlessly integrated French oak.Complex bouquet of dark berry fruits with hints of violets, cocoa and cedar.
