Once the vines arrives, they were put into the care of a studious botanist we have nicknamed The Tutor. This cellar release may have eight years of development behind it, but give it a taste and you’ll see that it is only starting to touch its prime drinking window. This wine is usually exclusive to the producer’s database, but somehow our charming wine buyers have managed to get some for the site.

Rarely do you open wine when it’s in the perfect drinking window, but alas, we have one for you. With almost a decade in the bottle, its tannins have softened to perfection. Robust and vibrant dark berries are still at the core, but the layers are opening up, offering roasted notes, cigar box, olive tapenade and mineral warmth.
