Oliver Crawford hits the mark beautifully with this Chardonnay that is bursting with Granny Smith apple aromas. In the mouth the wine is a cascading behemoth of white peach and rich nougat.

Vasse Felix Classic Dry White contains flavours of gooseberries that dominate the aroma of this blend with hints of stone fruit and perfume in the background. Fresh and lively with lovely texture and good length of flavour it is ideal summer drinking.

Pale gold in colour with notes of citrus zest, peach, and freshly baked macaroons. The fine mousse of the palate captures bright flavours of citrus, red berries and baked apple. Time on yeast lees has added creamy lemon curd and subtle wafer biscuit layers of flavour and texture. A wine rich and full of flavour balanced by a fine and gently lingering acidity.

There is an underlying lime zest note that helps to support these exotic characters. Citrus and subtle creamy elements help to complex the wine. This is a multi-layered, and engaging nose.Palate: Ripe nectarines, guava, some flinty highlights, with a lime zest finish. The palate has wonderful textures, while retaining a juiciness of fruit and lightness. There is great intensity of fruit, and fantastic length of flavour. The wine finished with a chalky mineral acidity, but subtle fruit flavours linger with this cleansing finale. The length of palate is the real key here - this is a Sauvignon Blanc that can be ruminated upon, but also just enjoyed.

The Brookland Valley Chardonnay is full of intense fruit aromas and a balanced palate. the bouquet displays lifted peach and nectarine notes combined with cashew, nougat and brioche. the palate is generous with citrus and stone fruit dominance. these flavours are supported by vanilla, spice and toasty oak.

They've always loved the raw possibilities and natural outcomes of minimal intervention winemaking, and have worked over the years to source fruit with lower impact and gentler farming - which they believe is the future for wine. Mon Tout Heydays Chardonnay 2022 vintage comes with another change up this year with Mount Barker dictating even more of the style than the 2020 release, yet Heydays is still overtly, beautifully and enticingly Chardonnay. Delicate floral aromas of honeysuckle, apricot, and lemon zest. Flavours of stone fruit, lychee and pear combine in a silky and seamless manner. The fine, mineral acidity and oak tension adds restraint, texture and length.
