Crafted from sustainably sourced, farm grown heritage rye and barley malts grown in red earth under the deep blue skies of the Australian bush, this locally made and grown whisky boasts a bold yet refined personality. Complemented by maturation in French and American oak casks, the palate is smooth, balanced and approachable, revealing notes of vanilla and rich caramel. Bone Dry Gin features juniper that has been distilled three different ways using our copper pot-column hybrid vacuum stills - the only example of their kind in the world. These world-class stills eliminate the damaging impact of heat on delicate botanicals, leaving us free to explore the many attributes of this multifaceted ingredient. To draw out a multitude of diverse flavours from our Macedonian juniper, this hand foraged ingredient was both cold and hot distilled to create three distinct expressions. Joined by a supporting cast of single estate Australian coriander seed, Tahitian lime and lemon scented gum, the resulting spirit offers a supple start on the palate that makes way for a bold balance of citrus and herbaceous intensity that dovetails to a profoundly pine-laden dry finish.Bone Dry Gin rigorously balances a huge amount of raw power with nuance, poise and complexity to reveal an elaborate juniper experience that makes a great G&T and an even better Martini. Introducing Straight Dry Gin, a new gin from Archie Rose, cold distilled with sustainably sourced local and Australian botanicals including lemon myrtle, reclaimed orange peel and pink peppercorn. Aromas of pine, fresh thyme and orange and the faintest hint of waxy lemon with a strong juniper backbone and subtle floral finish.

This whisky is the result of a happy accident that saw us fill 100 and 200 litre Australian Apera casks with Rye Malt Whisky instead of Single Malt Whisky to create an unexpected but exceptional series of small-batch releases. This combination of Rye Malt Whisky and Apera cask maturation reveals flavours of hazelnut cream, figs, crème brûlée and raisins.

Reinforcing our commitment to Australian grains and local terroir this whisky revisits the flavours of the NSW malt showcased in our first trials and exceptions release, Sandigo Heritage Rye Malt Whisky. It offers bold spice notes including ginger and licroice with a finish of creme brulee.

Harvest Whisky 2019 showcases ancient varieties of unirrigated barley and heirloom rye grown in challenging drought-stricken conditions by the Whytcross family in Barrellan, NSW. Semi-wild fermentation lends this intriguing whisky lifted aromatics of candied orange and peaches, finishing with toasted rye, roasted almonds and mandarin on the palate.

Accident is said to be the greatest of all inventors. When Cellar Hand Mr Goode mistakenly vatted Archie Rose Rye Malt and Single Malt Whiskies together, we happily found that to be true. This marriage of malts is therefore proof that serendipity can make Good(e) Whisk(e)y.
