This armagnac is aged for a minimum of 10 years. Aromas of caramel with flavours of spice and oak, mellowing out into plums and raisin sweetness and an aromatic finish.

Made in the heart of the Bas Armagnac region, the quite complex bouquet is fairly rustic in style, liquorice, trodden grass, pepper and coffee. The alcohol is perfectly integrated in the mouth and you will perceive all the mellowness of this brilliant vintage Armagnac.

An unaged Armagnac distilled from Colombard grapes, typically served straight over ice as an aperitif or reserved for use in cocktails. Crystal clear / silvery appearance. Varnishy notes dissipate after several seconds revealing pristine, delicately grapey aromas with hints of beeswax and almond. Good concentration. Grappa-like, medium dry, lightly fruity and waxy with a burst of spice. Ends fresh, dry with the fruity notes and gentle spices persisting. Lovely eau-de-vie. A special edition Armagnac that far exceeds the required age for an XO. The brandies used for the Delord XO Premium are aged between 25 and 40 years and unlike the other bottlings from Delord, this comes packaged with a metallic label and black wooden box. Tasting Notes: Nose: Rich and strong. Delicious aromas of orange flower, dried apricots, candied citrus and soft spice, such as star anise and cinnamon. Palate: Full with a tantalising touch of pepper, followed by a refreshing bittersweet note. An Armagnac that combines strength and indulgence. Pair with meltingly soft, dark chocolate fondant.

Delord 25 years old is elegant on the nose with peppery and spicy notes, it is in the mouth that this Armagnac will unveil its complexity of cocoa, spices (pepper), well-blended tannins, vanilla, rancio (walnut). A great Bas-Armagnac eau-de-vie... possibly the best value spirit we do! 'The deep, old copper penny colour is reminiscent of aged tawny Porto; flawless purity. The potent spirit races from the copita in the initial aromatic burst, leaving behind dried aromas of raisins, prunes and herbs; aeration serves to alter the aromatic direction as the bouquet turns biscuity, caramel-like, honeyed, cream sherry-like, and even dark chocolate, with more than a passing perfume of cheese-like rancio; wow. The palate entry is suggestive of bittersweet dark chocolate, cocoa butter, chocolate covered raisins, and dark honey; at mid-palate the taste profile becomes fruitier than the entry and less bitter-sweet, making for a succulent aftertaste that's spectacularly satisfying.
