After ceasing production in 2015, The Glendronach Revival 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky now returns to the core range of the distillery’s line-up. The expression embodies The GlenDronach’s signature style of Spanish Sherry Cask maturation in fine Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía, quietly growing in stature for 15 years in the darkness of their dunnage warehouses. In flavour, the expression offers sumptuous notes of dark fruits, rich chocolate and manuka honey with an enveloping, memorable finish worthy of this monumental malt’s history. This luxuriously sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is bottled at 46% ABV and natural in colour.

Each year Master Distiller, Billy Walker, specially selects a handful of individual cask from the warehouse at GlenDronach Distillery, to be bottled as the GlenDronach 'Limited Release'. With maturing whiskies dating back as far as 1968, there is a vast selection of barrels, hogsheds, puncheons and butts to choose from. Each of the casks display truly remarkable characteristic - the malt whisky contained within having developed exceptionally during the long maturation process. Individually numbered by hand, each vintage release is an exclusive one-off, with only a limited number of bottles available. These exceptional expressions are a fantastic representation of the style of whiskies maturing in the GlenDronach Distillery warehouses, and are smooth, well balanced and tremendously complex. Each dram is guaranteed to delight and inspire. This single cask was matured in Oloroso casks for 28 years. A deep walnut brown in colour, aromas of raisins, cinnamon and crème caramel. On the palate are more raisins, muscatels, walnuts and of course rich sherry flavours, with Christmas spices of cinnamon and cloves.
