Bright straw yellow with green tinges, a nose of butterscotch and honeycomb. The palate is lovely and textural with flavours of citrus, dried fruit, a hint of ginger and some lingering minerality.

In the glass: Deep red. On the nose: Lifted aromas of tar, espresso and black plum. On the palate: Full-bodied, round and smooth with a rich, dense core of dark fruit and a warm mouth-feel. Quite deluxe with lovely structure and depth of flavour with ripe tannins and well judged oak providing support.

This elegant wine shows a deep and dark colour, with light hints of purple along the edges. The bouquet exhibits dark fruit and chocolate fragrances, with underlying oak hints. The rich and juicy palate is full of chocolate and licorice flavours, with nuances of vanillin oak supporting the palate.

A Spanish grape variety, Graciano is cultivated in the Rioja region. Crafted by Michael Paxton, this elegant wine reflects all that is great about the Margaret River wine region. Light bodied and savoury, this wine shows juicy red fruit as well as white pepper elements. This wine can be consumed young, owing to its light tannin structure. The wine has a medium term cellaring potential.

Paxton NOW Shiraz is a vibrant purple coloured wine with red hues. Its bouquet is an explosion of aromas coming from mulberries, strawberries, raspberries and plums, with hints of sandalwood and lavender. The palate of this medium-bodied, drink "NOW" style of wine showcases bright and fresh red berry fruits followed by silky tannins and a velvety finish. Dark fruits, confectionary and exotic spices. Generous with intense varietal flavours of blackberry, blackcurrant, cassis and mulberry , hints of bay leaf and cedar adding complexity. Youthful with fine tannins and fresh acidity.

A Gold and Bronze medal winner, Three Ponds Holman Shiraz was only made in very small quantities in years worthy of the Holman Estate label. Flaunting a dark purple colour in a glass, this Hunter Valley Shiraz has aromas and flavours of dark berries, chocolate, tobacco and saddle leather. Open fermentation and ageing in the finest French oak barrels has provided it with a great cellaring potential. It tastes best when paired with beef, lamb or poultry dishes.
