It has been matured for 18 months in French oak hogsheads (30% new), coopered using 4-year air-dried wood by Francois Frere and Taransaud Coopers. The grapes are sourced from the multi-generational Riebke family vineyard in the Ebenezer district of Barossa. This wine is enjoyable now and has the potential to age beautifully until 2033. The low-yeielding crops produced wines that had rich aromas of ripe plums, black fruits and wild cherry with hints of warm spices and vanilla oak. A beautifully balanced wine with a length finish.

This wine boasts superb flavors, with notes of cumin, olive, and dark cocoa. It is multilayered, has finely grained vanillin oak, and finishes gracefully. The wine has been matured in French oak hogsheads, with 30% of the barrels being new oak, for 30 months. Additionally, the barrels were air-dried for four years before use. The blend consists of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon from Craneford in Eden Valley and 35% Shiraz from Ebenezer in Barossa Valley. It can be enjoyed now and will continue to age well until 2038.
