Shiraz is a variety that carries great significance in the Barossa Valley and as caretakers for some of the oldest surviving Shiraz vines in the world (dating back to 1847), we take immense pride in crafting this wine. Our highly acclaimed Shiraz has received numerous awards since its first vintage in 1990. However it’s the versatility of this wine, in the way it embraces both power and elegance that we are most proud of. Approachable in its youth or cellar for 10+ years.

The Barossa was blessed with good rain fall in the growing season preceding vintage 2022. Combined with a cool, dry summer, this made for ideal ripening conditions for our grapes. These favourable conditions have led to wines from this vintage having great balance of flavour and intensity. The wine shows a tightly woven complex nose full of spice driven florals, fresh red fruits and dusty cedar nuances. The palate is structured and long, with assertive tannins and a finish full of leather and spice characters.
