Deep red with ruby hues. The wine exhibits vibrant, characteristic aromas of ripe blackcurrants, blueberries, and dark plums meshed with hints of bay and liquorice and subtle spicy, toasty oak. The generous palate is packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, cassis and chocolate characters. Medium to full-bodied, the fleshy fruits are supported by moreish, supple and ripe tannins. A balanced wine, with a persistent fruit finish with beautiful regional savoury inflections of bay, black olive and liquorice.

Xanadu Malbec is a vibrant expression of this noble variety, shaped by Margaret River’s long, mild ripening season and maritime influence. Crafted in limited quantities from carefully selected vineyard parcels, it showcases both richness and refinement. Deep crimson with purple hues, the wine opens with seductive aromas of ripe blueberry, blackberry and violet, layered with subtle notes of dark chocolate, graphite and spice. The palate is plush and full‑bodied, revealing concentrated flavours of black plum, mulberry and inky forest fruits. Fine, dense tannins provide structure and balance, carrying the fruit through to a long, savoury finish. Approachable in its youth yet built with cellaring potential, this Malbec is a confident, modern red that highlights Xanadu’s philosophy of letting the vineyard speak first.
