This Yering Station Chardonnay has reached a beautifully creamy maturity. The bright peach flavors have softened into a smooth, honeyed richness, perfectly balanced by a "toasty" warmth from the oak that now feels like a gentle hint of roasted nuts. It’s silky and well-rounded on the palate, making it an incredibly easy-drinking white that punches well above its weight. If you love a white wine that is smooth, elegant, and full of character, this is at its absolute best right now.

Compelling and convincing, with florals, currants and blackberries, not too sweet; it has a savoury edge, with the oak seamlessly integrated. Perfectly ripe tannins with poise and presence ensure that this is lovely now, but will be more so in years to come.

Spicy cool climate Shiraz is fermented with whole bunches of a small portion of the white Viognier grape to produce this elegant style. Attractive floral notes of white flowers and peach blossom are enhanced by French oak and Rhone-like pepper and spice on the palate. Time in our cellaring programme has buffed the 2014 wine to a very smooth finish.

Made only in the best years, this wine is concentrated and intense. Powerful yet elegant, it has fine and silky tannins and a long finish. This wine is delicious now and will age beautifully for the next 10 years.
