At Grant Burge wines, we challenged ourselves to come up with the most vibrant and impactful wines possible. The result was Ink.Juicy fruit palate with juicy black fruits. The palate is moderately weighted and balanced with fruit sweetness with a perfectly matched soft structure that finishes clean and fresh.

Full and rich in the mouth. Full bodied with a saturation of black and blue toned berries. Tannins are firm and fine grained with alcohol and acid nicely integrated into the structure of the wine. Complex flavours of preserved dark fruits overlaid with a suggestion of marzipan. A fresh, tight finish with hints of eucalyptus.

Deep crimson with aromas of blackberry, dark plum and subtle oak spice. The palate is rich and full-bodied, showing layers of ripe black fruits, mocha and fine tannins. Powerful yet refined, it finishes long and elegant with balanced oak integration.

Hand-crafted using small parcels of premium fruit, The Old Dog Shiraz is an uncompromising marriage of both elegance and strength. The exceptional structure of the palate delivers full bodied flavours of rich plum, dark fruits, chocolate and liquorice, finished with impeccably polished tannins that balance the natural fruit acid nicely. John Harris (renowned winemaker behind the Shanahans label) has crafted some serious Shiraz.

This release of the Hangin' Snakes Shiraz is placed right in the 'wheel house' for those lovers of the powerful and intense. Attractive plush blackberries, full flavoured with silky perfumed tannins; a mouth filling wine of great poise.

Hand-crafted using small parcels of old vine fruit, The Barking Dog Grenache Shiraz Mataro is an exceptional example of three of the Barossa Valleys finest varieties. Natural fruit sweetness drives the palate with flavours of blackberry, plum, tobacco and a touch of spice to round it out. The soft balanced tannins and acid provide the core structure and combine to provide an intense long finish.

This Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon is a delightful surprise. Crafted in an unexpectedly light and fresh style. It offers aromas of cassis followed by bright black fruit flavours with a long and balanced finish.

Yalumba Paradox Shiraz is an inky, crimson wine full of aromas of mixed spice and crushed black pepper, violets, fennel and hints of blueberries. The palate is like layers of velvet, with great structure showing lush red berries, olives and anise.
