Domaine De La Rouviere Côtes de Provence Rosé
Domaine de la Rouvière Côtes de Provence Rosé is based on a blend of cinsault, grenache and syrah and derives from vineyards around Pierrefeu du Var, about 30 kilometres from Toulon and about an hours drive from St Tropez. The rocky landscape dominated by the Massif de Maure is typically undulating with pine forests and a large expanse of vineyards; many on south facing slopes. The warm Mediterranean growing season followed by night harvesting lead to optimum fruit ripeness and retention of acidity. Cool-vinification preserves fruitiness, freshness and transparency. The beautifully packaged Domaine de la Rouvière Rosé possesses a pretty light pink colour, attractive strawberry red cherry, raspberry aromas, plentiful fresh fruit flavours and crisp acidity. It works well as an aperitif with olive tapenade or anchovies on toast. Or pair with summer salads, charcuterie, grilled fish or BBQ meats.
