Name Origin Grillo means cricket in Italian - possibly referencing the grapes lively character. Tasting Notes Straw yellow with citrus and Mediterranean herb aromas. Dry, full-bodied, with lively acidity. Pairing Shellfish, seafood pastas, grilled vegetables.

Mandrarossa is a winery dedicated to the advancement of indigenous grape varieties and the best sites to grow them in Sicily. Their vineyards cover a diverse range of geologies, from volcanic canyons to limestone cliffs and sandy, coastal sites. Grillo is the second most planted white varieties on Sicily. This example is straw yellow with green hints, with intense and vibrant notes of citrus, prickly pear, grapefruit, and refreshing hints of basil. Fresh, bright, and intense on the palate.
