The Pinot Gris from the Long Road range of the Eden Road wines has lifted aromas of strawberry shortcake and ripe pears. These delicate characters are balanced with fine natural acid and textural palate. The slightly extended skin contact prior to pressing gives the wine the lovely pink colour, making it evermore appetizing. The finishing is crisp and clean. Simply seamless.

The Mader domaine is a very small quantity, high quality wine producer based in the picture postcard village of Hunawihr in the middle of vineyards on the Route des Vins. The family own 9 hectares of vineyards, including prized holdings of vines in the famous ‘Rosacker’ Grand Cru vineyard and also now in the Grand cru Schl0ssberg. All vineyard work is carried out by hand and since 2005 their son Jerome is now running the estate having studied and gained a Diploma in Oenology. Since returning to the family estate Jerome has also converted all their vineyards to bio-dynamic viticulture.

Villa Maria Private Bin East Coast Pinot Gris 2022 vintage consists of a variety of parcels blended from different vineyard sites across several key regions. The warmer Gisborne region provides ripe fruit with soft acidity and the South Island provides freshness and aromatics. This Pinot Gris has fresh and intense aromatics of pear, red apple and honeysuckle, leading to a rich and textured mouthfeel and a delicious off-dry finish. Pair this wine with seafood, soft cheeses, salads and white meats.

Fresh from Henschke's Littlehampton site in the Adelaide Hills, there are little squeaks of telltale bronze tones around the edges, then pears and almonds before a scoop of lychees and a mouth full of bright acids and herbal aromatics lolling around within its typical viscosity.

On the nose it’s varietal and has aromas of pear, apple and citrus with a slight hint of floral characters. The palate is a burst of citrus underpinned by balanced sweetness and acidity. Try it chilled with a variety of seafood.

Mon Tout’ - in French, means ‘my everything’. It's an ode to the great loves in our lives. Mon Tout look at the raw possibilities and natural outcomes of minimal intervention winemaking, and have worked over the years to source fruit with lower impact and gentler farming. Pinot Gris & Gewürztraminer - picked and pressed together to stainless steel where the juice was given extended contact with solids for 10 days prior to ferment, with a portion going to ceramic eggs to undergo cool and slow ferment in contact with skins for 2 weeks. Riesling - natural ferment in tank with low juice solids at a cool cellar temperature. Subtle and fresh, yet layered, this vibrant summertime white melds an array of riotous fruit with mouth-watering acidity and silky texture. It is a sensory journey on which one is carried from Pinot Gris’ classic pear, apple, and exotic sweet spice aromas to Gewürztraminer’s rose petal and white pepper tones. The palate is tightened by Riesling’s bright acidity and zesty flavours. Guided by a fine acid line, the midpalate unveils an almost oily texture and supple fruit weight, striking the perfect balance between bright and rich. An abundance of orchard fruit collides with tropical fruit punch and refreshing minerality to create an eminently appealing wine with a citrus-filled finish.

Product Information: Prophet's 2021 Rock Vin De Paille (or straw wine) is an ancient wine style in modern hands. A rare gem, this unique wine is made using an ancient technique of drying the grapes after harvest (traditionally on straw shelves). Just one barrel is made, expect complexity and richness, with a balancing fresh finish. The 2021 vintage shows juicy pear, quince, and vibrant florals on the nose. Yellow and stone fruits, especially nectarine drive the palate. Generous on the palate, but remains focussed and driven by great freshness, leading to an exceptionally long and bright finish. This wine comes from a high-elevation, a single parcel of Pinot Gris, located on our spectacular Rocky Point Vineyard. This very steep site has schist-based soil with high mineral content and low vigour (consistently average 30-35 hl/ha). In the vineyard this equates to one bunch maximum per shoot, no shoulders or wings, and a further green-thin at veraison to control yields and increase flavour concentration. Home Vineyard Situated on a north-facing terrace above Bendigo Station Homestead, the Home Vineyard offers sweeping views of the Cromwell Basin and Pisa Range. At an elevation of 320 to 400 metres, the vineyard’s steep slopes capture maximum sunlight and cool night temperatures, enhancing flavour development and freshness. The soil profile features a rare combination of schist, quartz, clay, and a layer of alkaline chalk, which supports optimal nutrient uptake and water retention, ideal for Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, with Chardonnay, Muscat, and Gewurztraminer planned for the future. Kopuwai Delta Vineyard Perched on a terrace overlooking the Clutha River, the Kopuwai Delta Vineyard is named after a powerful Maori taniwha. At 225 metres elevation, and nestled between the Pisa and Bendigo ranges, the vineyard benefits from low-vigor, free-draining soils made up of schist, loess, alluvium, and rounded river stones. This distinctive location and microclimate contribute to the production of Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay with exceptional purity and flavour.
