Fragrant ripe blueberry fruit aromas plus pepper, mushroom & toasty oak. The palate shows dark fruits & liquorice intermingled with toasty vanillin oak notes, preceding a long lasting, pepper & spicy tannin finish. The medium weight but firm structure & fruit vibrancy of this wine ensure it has many possible food matches.

A fine example of cool-climate Chardonnay. Elegant and structured this wine shows the finesse of the Yarra Valley at it's best. A perfect white to accompany seafood and white meats.

On the palate, this medium-bodied blend offers an inviting array of layered flavours including dark cherry and plum with background nuances of oak and spice. James Busby planted hundreds of varieties at Kirkton Estate - the first vineyard in the Hunter Valley. He is recognised as the "father of the Australian wine industry". William Busby is James Busby son who inherited Kirkton Estate in 1857. This Semillon is dedicated to William. A fresh and crisp Semillon, with undertones of lemon sherbet and citrus fruit. The palate is clean and complex with a stunning lime finish.
