Time spent making wine and absorbing local knowledge at Ceretto have only served to deepen his love of the region and it’s great wines. Now the proud owner of, and making wine in the old train station in Barbaresco, Dave’s passion has reached its pinnacle, and the wines show it! Produced in very small quantities, we are very excited to have a small allocation this year. Under the Cantina Della Stazione label, Dave Fletcher has produced a joyously succulent Dolcetta d'Alba. From 65 years old vines in San Rocco (Alba). Dave owns 1 hectare of vineyard, organically managed. Fully destemmed, fermented and aged in seasoned Burgundy barriques for 8 months. Unfined and unfiltered. Bright aromatics of cherry, plum and mulberry lead to flavours of tangy dark-stone fruits with a twist of herbaceous and earth notes. The finish is long and juicy with sleek tannins and abundant texture.

Donna Lorenza Chianti DOCG

The Chianti Classico DOCG wine has a deep vinous flavour and a vivid red colour. Dry and citrusy at first, the flavour gradually transitions to smooth velvet.

Freixenet Prosecco & Sparkling Rose Bonbons

The Freixenet Prosecco and Sparkling Rose you love are available in a convenient 200ml size and for a limited time they will be packaged in a delightful Bonbon presentation. Small, these might be, but they offer the same delicious and refreshing wine with its bright apple, floral and citrus notes in the Prosecco. The rose also brings in some distinctive red berry notes along with the more classic floral character and ripe red apples. Both are in an extra-dry style ready to be chilled and enjoyed.

Colpasso Prosecco

A fresh and aromatic Prosecco that is very soft on the palate with refreshing acidity and lots of fruit flavours such as apples, apricots and citrus. Serve chilled with a thai noodle dish.

Colpasso Nero d'Avola

Made from Nero d'Avola, a native grape of Sicily. The vineyards that produced this well crafted red are in the Belice area on the western side of the island. A portion of the fruit is treated very carefully during picking and transportation so as not to break the skins. The bunches are than laid out and dried for 30 days. They are then gently destemmed and crushed, and fermentation takes place. This wine is then added back to the normally fermented portion. The combination of two wines provides great intensity, complexity and interest. The wine has an incredibly intense nose featuring black pepper and spices. The palate offers layers and layers of fruit with bursts of dark berry fruit, excellent balance and complexity, with a soft, lingering finish.
