With an average age of around 15 years and made from the finest terroirs in Cognac; Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, predominantly distilled in 1990, the Selections unique character comes from long ageing in oak barrels, which adds incomparable fullness and sweetness. Aromas of pears, apples, molasses, creme brulee, and vanilla. The palate is supple, plump, and grapey with a mouth coating texture, dried fruits and a slightly sweeter and lingering finish that is satin smooth.

Very floral nose, spring flowers, hawthorn, wild rose, acacia, mixed with aromas of white peach and nectarine. A touch of violet candy. Delicious liveliness on the palate with aromas of passion fruit, lemon pie, dried apricot. Long finish on sweet spices, coriander, cardamom. In short ... Extremely elegant!

The natural unadulterated fruit, flower and spice aromas, which are contained in this elixir of distilled wine, aged in French oak barrels, are the essence of our vineyards and our knowledge. Harvested and distilled in 1992 and matured in brand new loose grain oak casks. Deep amber, some sediment evident. Initial inspections detect marshmallow and vanilla; several minutes exposure lifts the bouquet a notch as pepper, cinnamon and stewed apple-like scents develop, contributing depth and freshness. Seamless and well rounded with a semi sweet harmony of dried fruits, honey, spicy oak and balancing acidity throughout. Finish is accented by slightly astringent oak, thinning out and exiting early. Dilute honey aftertaste. A smooth and relaxed style.

An intense, flattering bouquet of green plum, quince and fresh almonds. Aeration reveals a delicacy that gives way to intense esters, with very little aggressiveness and a somewhat feminine suggestion of ripe fruit that is almost overripe. A well-rounded fruity density at entry is underlined by the brandy's softness and elegance. A Folle Blanche full of fruit and the lightness of youth, best enjoyed chilled.
