Milder and sweeter than the famous Green Chartreuse, Yellow Chartreuse was introduced to the world in 1838. It also is presented in the traditional Chartreuse liqueur bottle embossed with the seal of La Grande Chartreuse. Its colour is entirely natural with no artificial flavours or preservatives. It, too, can be enjoyed neat or in a long drink. To bring out all its flavour, it should be consumed very cold, even on the rocks.

The remarkable flavour of this clear spirit is hard to describe: it smells like a sun-drenched rocky Mediterranean hillside covered in wild herbs, like crushed juniper berries and fresh-torn spearmint leaves, like the hauntingly deep aromas of rain-soaked cedar wood and violet essential oil.

Intense and bright amber. The aromas immediately envelop the nose, unfolding in the tasting are intense fruity notes of citrus fruits (orange and bergamot), candied fruit and jam and almonds. Spices unfold rich in saffron, cinnamon, anise, licorice and fennel. To be sipped at room temperature, the sweetness and softness that distinguish the Calabrian liqueur emerge. Flowers and honey, aromatic and balsamic herbs and resins alternate to end in the notes of vanilla, toasted and warm wood. Thus, without defects, the old reserve accompanies the senses in self-remembering.

Clear and bright amber. Intense and characteristic scent of orange zest. Sweet, gentle tatse with dominant aromatic citrus notes. Long and fragrant feeling, with hints of honey, wood and vanilla.

Transparent and brilliant. It turns out soft, sweet and delicate, but with a notable richness and aromatic complexity, fruity and distinctly floral. Pleasant sensations on the palate. Finish is well balanced.
