After a minimum of twelve years of aging in white oak casks, until optimal maturity is achieved, the rums are aged for two additional years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, contributing to Ambassadors complex sensory profile. This incomparable rum features aromas reminiscent of port wine, dried fruits and cigar boxes. It is complex on the palate with cinnamon, nutmeg and toasted oak notes leading onto a long, pleasing aftertaste.

Templeton Rye Caribbean Rum Cask Finish Rye Whiskey is the second expression in the Templeton Rye Barrel Finish Series. This limited edition straight rye whiskey was originally matured to perfection for 5 years in traditional American new oak flame charmed barrels, before being expertly finished in the finest dark rum casks from the Caribbean island Jamaica. The additional 6 month maturation time spent in first fill Caribbean rum casks accentuates the rye spice, while adding subtle, exotic flavours and tropical fruit tones. Intense notes of rich oak and orange zest balance spectacularly with honeyed character, married with notes of black pepper dark chocolate. Natural, non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV, Templeton Rye Caribbean Rum Cask Finish delivers a whiskey bursting with complexity and flavour that is not to be missed.

Made from the fermentation of virgin sugar cane honey distilled partly in copper alembic and partly in steel continuous column, to achieve a medium body rum. Aged in pre-used oak barrels using the solera method and finally bottled under the highest quality control to ensure all the secrets are contained in the liquid flavour.

HMS Princessa contains rums aged exclusively in American white oak bourbon casks. All the rums have been aged between 5 and 7 years in our cellars before being blended together by our Master Blender. All rums are from the bottom plates of our 45-plate Coffey still as these distillates have the balance of flavours that enable long maturation and result in a rum with balance, intensity and complexity. Tasting Notes: Deep mahogany colour with honeyed raisins on the nose and a hint of vanilla and tobacco. Sweet with intense brown sugar, créme brûlée tones and balanced by dry toasty oak. Complex finish with good oak integration, caramel and tropical spice.
