Tequila

Calle 23 Anejo Tequila

Calle 23 is a highland tequila from Jalisco. Its creator, French-born biochemist Sophie Decobecq, distils each expression separately (Blanco, Reposado, Aejo) to its own special recipe. Her tequilas are double-distilled and she uses Bourbon casks from Kentucky. This anejo tequila is aged 16 months. It features a very satisfying agave rich palate featuring salty and buttery vanilla garnished with oaky smoke.

Herradura Plata Tequila

Taking the crown for the world's longest rested Blanco expression, Herradura Plata (silver) is a very clean, crisp tequila aged for 45 days to add a hint of colour and oak to its unique citrus character. The result brings more agave flavour and unparalleled taste to a margarita.

Fortaleza Tequila Reposado

Fortaleza tequila is hand-made from stone-crushed agave by Guillermo Sauza, a fifth generation Sauza family-member. The Reposado is a perfect balance of vegetal notes from fresh agave and vanilla wood from its resting in bourbon barrels.

Tapatio Reposado Tequila

Very pale straw gold appearance. Fairly restrained on the nose with a soft, seamlessly integrated amalgam of vanilla, green tomato and chile peppers followed by traces of mint. A soft light entry expands to reveal a light to medium bodied reposado with a slightly oily texture and restrained vanilla / agave and pepper flavours intensifying towards a deliciously salty finish. Concludes fresh and delicate with a subtle waxy green tomato fade. Elegant and understated.

Patron Gran Patron Piedra Tequila

The word Piedra means Stone in Spanish, because this very unique spirit was created entirely from an ancient process whereby a large tahona stone, wheeled slowly, crushes the agave. The resulting juice is then fermented and distilled with the crushed agave fiber, creating an herbaceous and earthy flavor. The taste is sweet, yet rich and complex, combining an herbaceous agave flavour with light vanilla, and fresh mushroom. The finish is long-lasting and remarkably smooth.

Casamigos Anejo Tequila

Casamigos, a small batch, ultra premium tequila made from the finest, hand-selected 100% Blue Weber agaves, grown in the rich red clay and cool climate of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Casamigos Anejo Tequila, aged for 14 months in premium American white oak barrels, is beautifully pure and complex. Perfect balance of the sweetness from the Blue Weber agaves, with subtle hints of spice and barrel oak, with a lingering smooth finish.

818 Tequila Reposado

818 Tequila is a brand that prides itself on working closely with local, family-owned farms in Jalisco, Mexico to deliver the smoothest most natural and best-tasting tequila possible. With a commitment to using only the highest quality ingredients, 818 Tequila ensures that every bottle embodies the essence of craftsmanship and authenticity. The ethos of 818 Tequila goes beyond just creating exceptional spirits. The brand recognizes the importance of sustainability and transparency throughout its supply chain. Taking inspiration from the area code 818, which represents their home, they also acknowledge that the earth is home to all of us. With this in mind, 818 Tequila places great emphasis on sourcing their agaves responsibly and ensuring the production process is environmentally friendly. The journey of 818 Tequila begins with the skilled jimadores, local agave farmers from the Tequila region. These experts identify the optimal conditions for growing agaves in the Los Valles region, patiently waiting for at least 7 years until the agaves reach peak maturity. Once harvested, the agaves undergo a slow cooking process that lasts for over 30 hours. Large stone Tahonas, weighing 800 kilograms each, are then utilized to crush the cooked agaves. This age-old technique allows for the extraction and collection of the juice, preserving the authenticity and tradition of tequila production. The extracted juice, known as "mosto," then goes through a natural fermentation process. Unique wood and stainless steel tanks are utilized, and the fermentation is enriched by using leftover agave fibers from the tahonas. Native yeast is added to enhance the aromatic expression, resulting in a deeper and more nuanced flavor profile. The tequila is distilled in hand-built copper alembic pot stills of the highest quality. It undergoes a double distillation process, carefully monitoring the alcohol volume to achieve the desired smoothness that 818 Tequila is known for. To further enhance the character of the tequila, it is aged in superior oak barrels. The Reposado and Añejo expressions are aged in both American and French oak, allowing for a harmonious fusion of flavors. Expert blending techniques ensure that each bottle of 818 Tequila embodies the iconic taste that the brand is celebrated for - smooth, versatile and sippable. 818 Tequila Reposado 700ml is a testament to the brand's commitment to crafting exceptional tequila. Aged in French and American oak barrels for a minimum of 3 months, this reposado expression offers a unique and memorable tasting experience. On the palate, 818 Tequila Reposado delights with a ripe roasted agave flavour, accompanied by notes of caramel and vanilla. The combination of these flavors creates a harmonious and indulgent taste profile that showcases the craftsmanship of 818 Tequila. The straw colour with golden hues and medium body of this reposado tequila adds to its allure. Its appearance is inviting and sets the stage for the sensory journey to come. The aroma of 818 Tequila Reposado is a delightful blend of vanilla, meringue, honey and fruit accents. These aromatic notes create an enticing bouquet that prepares the senses for the flavors that await. The finish of this reposado tequila is smooth and satisfying. It leaves a lingering caramel finish with notes of sweet cooked agave and pecan pie. These flavors add depth and complexity, leaving a lasting impression on the palate.

El Arquero Blanco Tequila

A new tequila venture founded by former Test Cricket Captain, Adam Gilchrist. The brand’s name, El Arquero , is Spanish for “The Archer” and “The Keeper”. “That’s where the cricket reference ends,” Gilchrist says. “I wanted something that could stand on its own two feet... I’m not a brand ambassador, I’m a founder. I wanted to do it properly.” Adamant that the brand isn't about celebrity or fanciful stories, Gilchrist is genuinely interested in quality. “We didn’t want to just slap a label on someone else’s juice,” he says. “We wanted something authentically made, traditionally distilled, and clean as it gets. No additives, no shortcuts.” So he and his team partnered with the Báñuelos family, third-generation masters and original founders of Cazadores. Their Destiladora de Los Altos distillery has been quietly perfecting the art for over half a century. The Blanco is aimed at being accessible without compromising proper tequila character. Seven year old agaves are harvested to create a bright, herbaceous aroma leading to a refreshingly crisp palate. According to Esquire Magazine, "...clarity shows in the liquid. The Blanco leads with roasted pineapple, citrus and white pepper before sliding into notes of vanilla and lemon. A small portion is aged briefly in oak, just enough to take the sting out of the back end." 38% Alc./Vol.
