In 1999, Guillermo Erickson Sauza decided to bring back the old Sauza family distillery to life. Today he produces Tequila Fortaleza there using 100% stone-milled agave, entirely produced on the estate which lies right in the middle of the town of Tequila. Fortaleza Blanco Tequila is unaged. It has an amazingly soft texture and vegetal sweetness with a long and satisfying finish.

Aged for a minimum of 12 months in oak barrels, Próspero Añejo has flavors of spice, toasted caramel, cacao and roasted fruit.

Produced with fully matured agave from 50% Highlands and 50% Lowlands of Jalisco, slow-roasted in brick ovens before being slow-fermented, and extracted by roller press. The resulting liquid is double distilled before ageing in Bourbon barrels for 6 months and is additive free. The Los Azulejos Talavera Collection Reposado Tequila has aromas of orange blossom, basil, hazelnut & nutmeg. The palate begins tart and acidic, before moving to a firm texture and flavour of honey oak, and vanilla bean yet with herbal agave notes still present. The finish is long, with some toffee and vegetal notes. A reposado whose naturally sweet disposition is its finest asset.
