Don Julio Añejo Tequila
A testament to Don Julios patience and determination for superior quality, Tequila Don Julio Añejo is the culmination of distinct rich flavours of agave balanced with the perfect amount of wood influence. Don Julio Añejo spends more than the minimum requirement of 1 year on oak, and is normally aged between 18 months and two years before it reaches its optimum age and taste profile. As with the rest of the Don Julio range the nose is fruity and floral, but with notes of vanilla and fresh agave, whilst the palate is slightly richer and more full bodied, yet still sweet and rich with citrus characteristics.

A special project from basketball legend, billionaire, and owner of the Charlotte Hornets, Michael Jordan, Lakers co-owner Jeanie Buss, Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens and Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck and Emilia Fazzalari, Cincoro Tequila is made from a celebrated blend of both valley, and highland agaves. The bottle and packaging are a commissioned piece from Mark Smith, Vice President of Innovation Special Projects at Nike, while the name “Cincoro” comes from a blending of two Spanish words, “cinco” and “oro.” The portmanteau pays homage to the five founding partners and their pursuit to create the gold standard in Tequila. Cincoro Tequilas stand apart as a truly unique creation, most tequilas are made from just one region, Cincoro however is meticulously crafted using Weber blue agave sourced from both the highland and lowland regions.
