Great Irish Whiskey doesn't just happen by chance, years of experience and expertise go in to creating the Jameson Black Barrel. It is the only whiskey in the Jameson stable that contains a triple distilled sweet grain whiskey which is then blended with a high proportion of select single Irish pot still whiskey. Once in the glass this exceptional whiskey shows a typical rich Jameson character and a luxurious mouth feel combining spice and exotic fruits.

Slightly more expressive than its Pot Still sibling, the aroma conjures frail scents of balsa wood, hay, poached pears in wine, green apples and light vanilla. It's also a more delicately textured whiskey suggesting flavours of sweet cereals and stewed orchard fruits, building succulence, ending crunchy, lipsmacking and gently spiced. Like a lightly fruited Speysider, but of an altogether softer variety. 46% Alc./vol. Non-chill filtered.

During barrel aging a drop of whiskey is lost to evaporation and is sacrificed to the heavens, often referred to as the "Angels Share." Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey was first launched in 1984 and every year since a new vintage of Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey has been released, gaining a cult following. Midleton is the annual selection of the best distillates, hand selected by the Master Distiller Barry Crockett. Each bottle carries an individual number and the signature of the Master Distiller signifying its exclusivity and collectability. Teeling's Small Batch consists of hand selected casks which are given further maturation in ex-Flor de Cana Rum barrels imparting an extra sweet, smooth and slightly woody flavour unique to Irish Whiskey. To add a depth of character Teeling Single Grain is exclusively fully matured in Californian Cabernet Sauvignon wine barrels which creates very distinctive rich amber colour while imparting strong spicy notes and lush red berries and grape flavours. Like all the Teeling Whiskeys, it's bottled at 46% with no chill filtration, allowing for all the natural flavours of the Whiskey to be retained. Made through the combination of unique ingredients, predominately maize/corn, and the modern technique of column distillation producing an exceptionally clean smooth and sweet Irish whiskey.
