Master Blender Rachel Barrie designed the Master’s Anthology Series to explore the versatility of sherry cask maturation. With Ode To The Valley, she leans into abundance—offering an expression that feels like walking through an orchard in bloom, while still rooted in the distillery’s signature richness. At 46.2% ABV and non-chill-filtered, this is a dram that delivers clarity and structure. A vibrant mix of berry compote, gingerbread, and roasted apple crumble makes it ideal for pairing with glazed pork, fruit-forward desserts, or as a generous after-dinner pour. Tasting Notes NOSE – Juicy and inviting Late summer berries, dulce de leche, and apricot glaze, lifted by sweet demerara sugar. PALATE – Fruit crumble warmth Blackberry and roasted apple crumble mingle with gingerbread and damson plum. FINISH – Sweet and spiced Black cherry cake, liquorice, and a soft wash of acacia honey.

This peaty Single Malt dates back to 1816, when John Johnston and Archibald Campbell each constructed a distillery on what today is the Lagavulin site. After Johnston died, Campbell consolidated the two, before selling it to malt merchant Alexander Graham. Today it continues to uphold the traditions of its past, using meticulous preparation to create powerful whisky. Their signature 16 year old malt has a strong peat, smoke and seaweed nose that is followed by a nutty complexity and light fruitiness. In the mouth characters of Charcoal, dry woodiness and iodine followed by chilli chocolate and a hint of toffee.

Balvenie Caribbean Cask was created by The Balvenie Malt Master, David Stewart, who celebrated an incredible 50th anniversary at the distillery in 2012. 14 years maturation in traditional oak casks & finished in Caribbean rum casks. Rich, sweet and creamy toffee on the nose combines with fresh fruit notes. Rounded with vanilla and sweet oak notes, with a fruity character that develops with time. Released to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the founding of Lagavulin distillery by John Johnston in 1816, this eight-year-old is big and smoky, with sweet spice that becomes apparent with a drop of water. Inspired by the visit of Alfred Barnard to the distillery in the 1880's when he tried an 'exceptionally fine' eight-year-old from the distillery, this is a fitting tribute for the milestone.

Uniquely finished for up to four months in barrels that once contained rum from the Caribbean to create a luxuriously rich and indulgent single malt. After maturing the whisky for 21 years, the Malt Master adds even warmer and richer flavours by uniquely finishing this single malt in first fill bourbon barrels that once contained rum from the Caribbean. The rum soaked cask infuses the aged whisky with a spicy warmth and indulgent vanilla and toffee sweetness, the character of the Caribbean shining through. Here is the fourth instalment in The Macallan's limited annual Harmony Collection. 'Vibrant Oak' reflects the influence of sherry-seasoned casks having matured in both first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak and refill sherry casks. The whisky was created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, and the packaging features characters from its SPIRIT experience which premiered at The Macallan Estate in early 2024. As with others in the series, the outer packaging and label are made from repurposed oak chippings, leftover as a by-product in the cask-making process. 44.2% Alc./Vol. Notes from the producers... Nose Intense vanilla bean accompanied by sweet sherbet and lime zest gives way to fragrant pears nestled in delicate vanilla sponge cake. Palate Creamy vanilla panna cotta, buttery shortbread, lightly toasted coconut with almond brittle, apple and sweet oak. Finish Medium, sweet with lingering vanilla.

The richly layered Glenfiddich 15 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky is innovatively matured in three types of oak cask: sherry, bourbon and new oak, before being married in a handcrafted Solera vat that is never emptied, but is always kept at least half full creating a deliciously harmonious and intense whisky.
