Aromas of violets, spice, ripe blueberries and boysenberry, with hints of mocha oak. The palate shows fresh fruits of red cherry, fresh cranberries with savoury chalky tannins which give length and finesse.

This unique Fleurieu Malbec with its distinctive purple colour and intense fruit brightness of red plums, blueberries and undertones of cocoa creates a stylish textural style. The black fruit power provides mouth filling richness with persistent mouth coating tannins.

Malbec is renowned for its value in blends but not often found as a varietal. This fine example from Bleasdale is considered a benchmark for the style. Soft, smooth, toasty oak with great depth of complexity.

The “red-stripe” blend of 4 red varieties creates a versatile wine suited to many occasions. Soft fruit and judicious oak, well balanced and approachable wine, providing a true reflection of its regionality.

Don David was the key man in the winerys history. He was a pioneer in planting quality vines in the high altitude vineyards of the Calchaqui Valleys, convinced this remote and exquisite region had the potential to deliver unique wines. Produced from 100% malbec grown at 1800 metres, the wine boasts sweet and soft tannins. Dry fruits, chocolate flavors, oak, and a long and persistent bouquet with complete elegance..

The Knappstein Malbec showcases vibrant varietal aromas of dark plum and raspberry with a dose of fresh cherry. Generous, yet delicate tannins provide the wine with body, enhanced with subtle oak. Fruit is complimented with sweet cinnamon and spice characters, framing the wine for a long finish.

What happens when you combine notes of spice, black pepper and mocha? These are the aromas of Taylors Made Malbec. This red varietal has a well rounded body and deep flavours of black cherry, plum and raspberry.
