Merlot

Chancellor & Co Merlot

Chancellor & Co Merlot is slightly oaked for a backdrop of character, leaving a heady aroma of dark berry and ripe plums to shine through. Once this rich red hits your palate, expect plummy fruits and sharp blackberry to dominate.

Château Valandraud, Virginie de Valandraud St-Émilion, Grand Cru, Bordeaux

Sinewy but with salinity and plush red and black fruits, this finishes with a twist of salinity that gives a mouthwatering finale. This is a beautiful Virginie de Valandraud, the best that I have tasted to date. It's just so drinkable, this is one to savour and share with friends. Valandraud now incorporates an extra 10ha in St Etienne de Lisse, so the estate is 40ha in total, with 9ha in the grand vin and the rest in this second wine. Jane Anson 93 Points Decanter

Bumblebee Organic Merlot

A wine that is bursting with fruit vibrancy showing aromas of blood plum, chocolate and subtle oak. The palate delivers fresh, upfront fruit with plush tannins and a long-concentrated finish.

Stonehaven Merlot

Indulge in the richness of McGuigan Gold Merlot, a fruity red wine from our new Gold Label range, perfect for everyday celebrations. Balanced with aromas of fresh berries and subtle spice, this medium-bodied delight is ideal for cozy evenings at home or winter gatherings. Its velvety texture and hints of cedar make it an excellent choice to accompany hearty dishes or to simply enjoy on its own.

Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rum Barrel Merlot

This Merlot blends the craftsmanship of California winemaking with the exotic tradition of dark rum barrel aging, resulting in an incredibly bold sensory expression. Dark ruby red in color, it opens with rich, sweet aromas of blackstrap molasses, sweet vanilla, mocha, cocoa powder, maple, tobacco leaf, spiced rum cake, anise, black cherry, and dark plum. Ripe, concentrated flavors of black cherry, black raspberry, spiced rum cake, molasses, caramel, brown sugar, baking spices, sweet oak, vanilla, and dark chocolate carry through to a long, lush, and sweet finish. A superb accompaniment to Caribbean rum cake, pasta Bolognese, Korean short ribs, Jamaican jerk chicken, spicy coconut curry, dark chocolate, brie with fig jam, and a white sandy beach at sunset.
