Pocketwatch Pinot Noir was produced using grapes grown in Mornington Peninsula and Yarra Valley. It is a delicate red wine exhibiting subtle hints of oak from its nose. Displaying bright fruit characteristics, the palate is filled with red fruit flavours of cherry and raspberry combined with a slight earthy appeal and nuances of oak. An easy-to-drink wine, it can be paired with roasted chicken, pasta, grilled salmon and duck.

This vineyard is typically a warm site, but the cooler 2021 vintage has given the wine a lifted, ethereal perfume more characteristic of the “Up Hill” sites. On the palate too, it is red rather than black cherry, with lively fruit, delicate acid and fine lingering tannins which give the wine great persistence.

Medium-bodied, elegant wine with bright red fruit aromas of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, complemented by subtle earthy and spice notes. On the palate, it shows juicy red fruit, fine silky tannins, and a fresh mineral-driven acidity, all balanced with gentle French oak.
