Pinot Noir

Place of Changing Winds Red Tradition

Here is 60% syrah from Heathcote and Harcourt with a bolstering remainder of pinot noir. A variety of vessels cajole the wine to bottle. This feels meaty and sleek in the same breath. A whiff of woody spices and undergrowth before a compote of forest berries with a high note of tart cherry. Similar to taste, a sluice of fine, grainy tannin in tow, on medium weight and very persistent. It’s a slurpier red with plenty of charisma and high drinkability

Munda Wurundjeri Country Pinot Noir (Yarra Valley)

AROMA Red cherry and berry fruits combine with earthy spice- cardamom and white pepper with hints of rose and leafiness- presenting an appealing and varietal aromatic wine. TASTE Bright red and dark cherry fruit flavours combine with leafy and earthy forest flavours. A fresh and vibrant medium weight palate with good acidity and fine and long, elegant tannins. CELLARING 7-10 years in the right cellaring conditions.

Salvard Val de Loire Pinot Noir

Emmanuel and Thierry Delaille quietly go about their business producing true, supple wines from the clay and limestone plains of Cheverny in the central Loire. Having worked with the brother’s great-value Sauvignon Blanc for years now, we have turned our attention to the Domaine's tasty Pinot Noir that comes from a small, 1.5-hectare a plot of 10–20-year-old vines. Like its white sibling, this is all tank-fermented and aged. It has plenty of substance to complement the juicy fruit and crunchy redcurrant and pomegranate flavours. It's plump, vibrant palate accompanies a mouth-watering freshness that calls for another sip (or another glass, or another bottle!)

Little Reddie Bootleg Red ( ) Non-Vintage

The Little Reddie Bootleg Red (2024) NV from Heathcote is a bold and captivating wine that showcases the talent of this renowned Victoria-based producer. On the nose, rich aromas of ripe blackberries and plums mingle with hints of dark chocolate and a touch of spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, with a deep crimson hue that hints at its intensity. Flavors of black cherry, cassis, and a subtle smokiness tantalize the taste buds, while soft tannins and a long, lingering finish complete the experience. This vintage NV is a testament to Little Reddie's expertise in crafting exceptional wines that perfectly balance power and finesse. Enjoy this Bootleg Red with a hearty beef stew or a juicy steak for a truly indulgent dining experience.

The Remarkables Pinot Noir

Remarkable in name and remarkable in nature. Hailing from the young, funky and cool region of Central Otago this Pinot Noir shows all the cherry richness we've come to expect. Add in the sheer approachability courtesy of the smattering of strawberry and red berry flavours and the silken, soft finish and you have an Otago bargain that is a must try.

Split Rock Pinot Noir

Awash with aromatic pomegranate, tamarillo and fresh cherry notes on the nose. The palate has savoury notes of mocha melded with nutmeg and plummy fruit. Fine oak tannins complement weighty stewed plum, dark cherry and raspberry leaving a generous warm finish in the wine.
