We craft our award-winning expressions of Pinot Noir using expressive fruit hallmarked by notable quality and elegance. The 2021 Avni Pinot Noir is subtle and mouth filling, immediately pleasing and rich. The large proportion of complexly flavoured fruit from shallow Gelderman soils combines seamlessly with the richer fruit flavours of Pommard and 115 clone Pinot Noir on Jory and Nekia soils. The wine has many layers that unfold with both red and black cherry fruit, tea, rose petal, savoury and mineral nuances, finishing with a round, plummy texture. 2021 Avni will count among the best we have ever made.

42 Degrees South Pinot Noir has red cherry and blackcurrant aromas followed by mixed red berry flavours that linger elegantly and finish with delicate tannins and soft acid.

A beautifully perfumed example of the classic medium-bodied Yarra Valley style from an exciting new entrant to the local scene, made by the highly experienced Paul Bridgeman. Medium garnet. Open and expressive aromas of mulled strawberry, forest floor and clove. Plush and polished palate, delivering a riot of red berry perfume, and velvet umami throughout, enhanced by damp earth, mushroom and stalk and charry barrel harmony.

Light, pretty floral aromas, pencil shavings, raspberry, black cherry and a hint of calfskin leather. The palate is succulent and supple in the mouth, the structural tannins come as a pleasant surprise after the opu-lence of the mid-palate, finishing long, savoury and dry. Best enjoyed with with pork belly, duck or rib-eye steak with chimmichurri, or cellar for the next 10 years (if you can refrain from opening now!).
