Incredibly versatile with food, our Pinot Noir matches well with both red and white meat but we love it most with a scotch fillet with pepper sauce on a cheese and garlic mash.

It bursts with bright red-currant and cherry fruit, cinnamon, cloves, cracked pepper and drying violets with a savory earthy undertone. The palate is plush but neatly packaged with savory, focused tannins and crunchy berry fruit. The spicy French oak does show on both the nose and the palate but it adds rather than detracts. Drink this young and slightly chilled as a light alternative to charred barbecue fare.

The Tomich family hails from the Adriatic Coast in Croatia where winemaking is a way of life. Jack Tomich Senior arrived in Australia in 1903 bringing with him all of the grape growing and winemaking skills of his forefathers. 3 generations of grape growers and winemakers later, the Tomich family now owns one of the best sites in the Adelaide Hills and had kept its ancestral way of softly farming the land and is pushing for sustainable growing practices.

Black forest cherries, juniper and bay leaf. Crushed allspice, licorice root and coal. There is a chew to the tannins and fine line of acidity that carries the ripe black fruit right to the back palate. A sappyness of grape tannins means this wine will continue to evolve and improve. Excellent for its price tag.
