Casanova Di Neri Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona
Ciacci Piccolomini dAragona Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Ciacci Piccolominis 55.5 hectares planted to vine are dedicated to Sangiovese Grosso, the finest iteration of Sangiovese. Facing south in a warmer mesoclimate, the refraction and reflection capacities of ancient shale interspersed with the water-absorption properties of calcareous marl and an altitude between 240 and 360 metres make for a confluence of all the elements intrinsic to their signature superlative Brunello from the single Pianrosso vineyard. 'superlative Brunello across...'- Ned Goodwin MW These elements are maximised in tank for the first fermentation before articulation across a phalanx of traditional Slavonian wood during extended periods of ageing: 24 months for the DOCG Brunello. Casanova Di Neri Cerretalto
Cerretalto is a single vineyard Brunello from one of the very best sites in the region. The wine is made only in exceptional years when the quality of fruit warrants. The best fruit from the site is hand harvested, sorted, destemmed and crushed before undergoing wild yeast fermentation in open vats. The temperature controlled fermentation lasts 3-4 weeks and then the wine is transferred to oak barrels for 31 months followed by a further 30 months in bottle. The wine is kept back in the winery for 6 years before release.

Castello Di Volpaia Il Puro Gran Selezione
Castello di Volpaia Il Puro Gran Selezione, Chianti Classico DOCG Il Puro or, The Pure, is so named as its made from 100% Sangiovese from the celebrated vineyard Casanova between similarly lauded vineyards of Coltassala and Balifico. Situated at an altitude of 500 metres on south-facing slopes of Volpaia above the sea level. The vineyard is organic and is home to 25 clones of 60-plus-year-old Sangiovese vines indigenous to Volpaia. The number of clones doesnt just give the wine complexity, it preserves the genetic diversity and health of the vines.

Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona Vigna di Pianrosso Santa Caterina D'Oro Riserva
Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona Vigna di Pianrosso Santa Caterina D'Oro Riserva, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG From Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona comes the Vigna di Pianrosso Santa Caterina D'Oro Riserva, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. From the 11.69ha Pianrosso vineyard (translating to ‘red field’, referring to the iron-rich soils), this is a 100% Sangiovese using only the best grape selection. This single vineyard bottling is a quintessential representation of why the wines made by the Bianchini family are some of the most sought after in the region. Fermented in stainless steel and glass, the wine is then matured for three years in Slavonian oak, before a further year in bottle. The result is a complex and intense wine, rich with fruit and spice and incredible opportunity for ageing.
