The 2018 vintage was extraordinary and stands proudly among the finest vintages ever witnessed in Margaret River. Crafted by the skilled hands of Bruce Dukes, this wine exhibits flavours of ripe dark berries with a hint of exotic spice for which Bantry Bay and the Yallingup sub-region are renowned.

Vibrant ruby red, with some purple. Aromas of red fruits and spice - typical of the variety, are lifted and an immediately striking characteristic. On the palate, spicy and savoury Nero d’Avola is balanced with some solid Shiraz fruit sweetness and depth. Some characteristic crispness on the finish leaves no doubt as to the wine’s origin. This release is blended from vineyards near the McLaren Vale township, Willunga, Onkaparinga Gorge and Blewitt Springs, chosen for their capacity to capture the essence of the regional style. A medium-bodied wine with a plush palate and bright, vibrant, red fruit characters and lovely spice, this Grenache Shiraz calls for great food, good company and a second glass.

A Shiraz for the big boys, fresh red currants and blueberries leap from the glass and are interwoven with violets and spice. The palate is rich in juicy raspberries; blueberries and spice fill the mouth and are supported by bright acid and silky tannins. The finish is fleshy, juicy and plush with wonderful medium bodied balance and style.
