Rosé

Bedlam & Order Margaret River Rosé

The meticulous work of creating beautifully balanced order from the bedlam – and infinite possibilities – of the tasting table is no easy job. The new BedLam & OrdEr range of wines celebrates the work of a quality obsessed team of experienced wine enthusiasts in South Australia. That is exactly what they do, carefully combining top-tier varietals, as here using a rare combination of Shiraz Cabernet and Merlot from vineyards in Margaret River to produce a beautifully balanced wine with strawberry and watermelon aromas, and palate of ripe Summer berries.

The Kings’ Creed Fleurieu Peninsula Rose

Be Bold. Be Brave. Be Courageous. That’s the motto of Kings’ Creed in South Australia’s beautiful Adelaide Hills district. Their aim is to “craft small batch wines of quality with bold character.” The wines are made by the legendary Ben Riggs, so that’s a creed that will be easy to live up to. Their gorgeous Rosé certainly shows lots of wonderful bold berry flavours on a deliciously tang, crisp palate. Chill, sip and enjoy!

Zilzie Butterfly Kiss Organic Victorian Rosé

Victorian Shiraz grapes, organically grown, were cool fermented in stainless steel, followed by a short period of lees stirring to give length and roundness to the palate. Shiny rose gold, the Zilzie Butterfly Kiss Rosé offers fresh summer strawberries with a delicate white floral undertone. Add a subtle hint of raspberries and a dry mineral finish and this is a fabulous wine for all occasions. Try it with a Thai beef salad, grilled lemon fish or haloumi on the barbecue with a side of basil and tomato salad.

Perla Rosado

Campo de Borja used to be known for making high volume wine of little quality. During this period in the 1950s, Señor Andrés Ruberte planted Garnacha vines on his small estate, strongly believing in the potential of these grapes. This pioneering spirit paid off. Today Campo de Borja is considered one of Spain’s most highly prized regions. The winery that started with Andrés continues to thrive. Now part of the forward thinking and award-winning company, Artiga Fustel, this tantalising pink is made by the skilled hand of Scottish born Pamela Geddes. With numerous medals to her name the 2019 vintage won Gold and the 2021 is tasting just as delicious. Great for sipping solo, it's a dream with salads, chicken or, to be authentic, paella.
