Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are blended to create this finely orchestrated cuvee aged for a minimum of 3 years. Joseph Perrier has a powerful attack and rich mouth feel is balanced by a long finish.

Lifted ripe nashi pears, lemon, quince, and melon, lying beneath are notes of freshly grown lavender blossom with hints of sweet baked apple pie crust and cassia bark from the wines time on yeast lees in bottle. A lovely textural palate is evident immediately, showing quince, subtle lime and just caramelized nougat. This Leeuwin Estate Brut Pinot Noir Chardonnay displays a fine bead that threads the acid line into a seductive mouth filling and long palate.

The Vazart-Coquart family has been involved in the wine business for centuries. In 1953, Louis Vazart and his son Jacques launched the family Champagne brand. Jean-Pierre Vazart, Jacques son, is now in charge of the estate. The Vazarts grow 95% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Noir on their 26.4 acres (10.7ha) in Chouilly. Average vine age is 30 years. They produce what is considered to be one of the best Blanc de Blancs in Champagne.

The Bollinger La Grande Année is the pinnacle of Bollingers Champagne styles and is produced only in the best years. Fruit is sourced entirely from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyard sites in Champagne. The base wine was aged solely in old oak barrels, providing additional depth and nutty complexity. After secondary fermentation, the wine is aged on lees for more than five years before disgorgement. La Grande Année shows complexity and richness from the long ageing on lees and oaked base wines used in the cuve. The Grande Réserve Brut Multi-vintage is the flagship wine of Gosset. Grapes are sourced from various Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites in the Marne Valley. The wine is a blend of 43% Chardonnay, 42% Pinot noir, and 15% Pinot Meunier with 12% reserve wines of an average age of 2 years. Malolactic fermentation is avoided to retain the vibrant, dry acidity that gives freshness to the Champagne. The wine is aged on yeast for 4 years prior to disgorgement and release.
